Chad A. Jacobs Foundation

MISSION

The mission of the Chad A. Jacobs Memorial Foundation is to fund academic and athletic scholarships to children with financial need who live in the surrounding community.

Chad had an enormously positive impact on so many people during his lifetime. A young Wizard hockey player who was coached and mentored by Chad wrote, "I can easily say that Chad holds claim to the single greatest turning point in my life." It is our hope that Chad's Foundation will continue Chad's legacy of positively impacting the lives of children in the surrounding community.

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

The Chad A. Jacobs Memorial Foundation was established in loving memory of Chad A. Jacobs who passed away on June 11, 2010, at the age of 45 after battling cancer. Chad was an adoring father, loving husband, caring son, successful businessman and wonderful friend and colleague to many, many people.

The Foundation funds academic and athletic scholarships to children in the surrounding community. Currently the Foundation funds the Chad A. Jacobs Scholarship at Fairfield Prep (academic), the Chad A. Jacobs Scholarship at Wonderland of Ice (athletic), the United in Hope Scholarship (in conjunction with the John P. Flanagan Foundation) and An Act of Kindness Scholarship. Through the Foundation, Chad continues to have a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of children in our surrounding community.
